At Seton Catholic College we work to ensure our students are ‘Set for Seton’ on their arrival and then ‘Set for Life’ as they leave. Our Vision for Learning contains the ideal vision of a 'Seton Graduate'. This ideal Seton Graduate cannot be defined by just marks and grades and our vision is a holistic one which sees each students as a unique human person with God given gifts and capabilities that we can help develop, along with our Seton parents. This truly holistic educational experience allows our students to grow towards becoming the very best version of themselves. We know that one of the first things we would hope for in a student who leaves this school is that they live their life by their values. Not only the College core values of Respect, Inclusion, Service and Excellence, but also their own values that they have developed in their journey through life. By prioritizing these values, our graduates can live a fulfilling life that centres on seeking Christ in themselves and others, ensuring that every interaction they have matters.
As noted in the ‘Seton Graduate’ vision we hope our students develop both the knowledge and the skills to contribute to the world and any future career choices they make. At Seton Catholic College we work to make sure those important 21st century skills, what we call the Seton Skills, are embedded in our teaching, assessing and reporting. In terms of technology, all students at Seton Catholic College enjoy the benefits of a developed one to one device program. Fundamentally, our adoption of technology is centred on catering to the learning requirements of students and tapping into the plentiful learning opportunities that can be accessed through effective utilization of technology.
